A Unique Ally

Concordia Plan Services walks with LCMS ministries in caring for workers and their families . . . so that the Word of God continues to spread!

Ministry is a life-long vocation for pastors and teachers, as well as for many lay workers. Through the Concordia Plans, caring congregations, schools, and other special ministry organizations provide workers and their families with excellent comprehensive employee benefits including health, retirement, disability, survivor, and specific resources for ministry. By partnering with Concordia Plan Services, LCMS organizations and church workers have an ally who understands their unique needs and provides necessary benefits and services for all those enrolled.

Sharing in Your Spirit of Service

All over the world, workers of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod bring the gospel to a world sorely in need. And for fifty years, the Concordia Plans have provided benefits to protect those workers, leveraging our collective numbers to bring quality benefits to all.

We’re blessed to serve the workers who have dedicated themselves to the work of God, ensuring that their families are protected with health, disability, and retirement benefits specifically designed for professional church workers.

Contributions to the Concordia Plans serve ministries across the LCMS. The health plan covers small claims as well as catastrophic claims, allowing ministries to continue carrying out their work while we make sure that both the employer and the member are covered. The retirement plans provide for current retirees as well as the future retirements of current workers. Our disability plan provides that should a worker become disabled, he or she receives benefit payments, and moreover, that after three months all Plans contributions for that member are paid not by a single ministry, but by the disability plan so that we are all walking together in carrying out the ministry.

We invite you to be a part of this community, ensuring the health and future of the professional church workers of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod.
